"Sydney based Schreuder Partners, lawyers for Australian citizen Daniel Snedden, who is wanted for extradition by Croatia, have released a letter stating clearly and unambiguously that Mr Snedden has not been charged by the East European nation with any crimes or war crimes.

"The letter is available for viewing and download from the Project SafeCom website at:

"The letter is intended to inform reporters that Mr Snedden, held in maximum security in Parklea jail since January 2006, has not in any way, shape or form been charged by Croatia.

"Mr Snedden has also not been charged by The Australian Commonwealth with any crimes or war crimes.
