2005 Press Clippings
Once again, just like during 2004 (see the page), thanks to the folks at Rural Australians for Refugees, who, while we at Project SafeCom doggedly edited and published our Almost Daily News and Updates since TAMPA in 2001, subscribed, read and noted the online weblinks of those articles, we are now able to bring you all the news we saw below, as one-line links to their original locations.
NOTE: some, or over time, several or many, of the links may be or become outdated. For that we apologize. We're unlikely to find the time to update this page beyond December 2005 in the future.
See also the immigration section in The Age, and in the Sydney Morning Herald for an up-to-date source of news items on asylum seekers and detainees.
