Project SafeCom information sheets

Welcome to this page with the Project SafeCom information sheets!

You can either read the documents linked to this page, or download them. Other documents, related to the other Project SafeCom refugee documentation are on the human rights documents page.

That page, the documentation page, is and always has been our main storage location of many hundreds of Portable Document Files (PDF), Word documents and other documentation. The files located on the page you're reading now, are also stored via the documentation page.

About the images & documents

  • To download any of the documents on this page to your computer, move your mouse over the linked document name or description, and with a right-click of your mouse, choose the option "Save As" or "Save target as"; then choose or name a folder on your computer to save the item to.
  • This image, or a smaller version of this image, shows a portable document file format (PDF), used by millions of people. For this file to be readable by your computer, and therefore you, you need to have an Adobe Acrobat Reader program installed on your computer. The program is free, and you can download it through this link to the Adobe website.
  • This image shows a Microsoft WORD document, indicating that the file is written as a WORD document, one of the most common formats of documents used online.
  • This image shows a Rich Text Format document, a format that's like Microsoft WORD documents, but with a reduced number of "hidden commands", meaning it's smaller and more compact. All known versions of WORD open this document.
  • This image depicts what is called a zip file, or a zipped-up (or compressed) file, making it much smaller for downloads, and also much safer than for example a Word document, from viruses when sent by email. To work with a zip file, you need to have an "unzip program" installed on your computer. You can download a trial version of the Winzip program through this link to the Winzip website.
  • This image shows a sound or music track, that can be played with current versions of the Windows Media Player.

Click here to download your copy of Acrobat Reader! It's almost superfluous to tell you, that "PDF Files" need an 'Acrobat Reader' on your computer, but just in case, click on the image or here to download the free program.
